Bridgwater Science Festival have confirmed even more family entertainment for Saturday 23rd May. Not only will there be the FREE science exhibition, with hands-on activities, displays and experiments, there will also be top quality family shows provided by local experts.
First, there will be a puppet show with a difference. Lyme Regis Rocks, originally commissioned by Natural England for the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival, will be coming to Bridgwater for the first time. Jane Leaky (director, Fat Cat Theatre) has previously performed her fun and educational puppet shows at the Natural History Museum and many schools, theatres and nature reserves around the UK.
The local branch of Fizz Pop Science shows will be putting on a Bubble Show workshop, including making bubbles of different sizes and shapes, foam and flaming, and chemical reactions – and you can experiment with the different bubbles!
Additionally, for all those space enthusiasts out there, Space Detectives will be running a workshop with a number of different activities.
