Some of the team from UWE returned to EDF Visitor Centre in Angel Place during the May half term. On Tuesday and Thursday, the Microbiology and Psychology teams returned and were joined by a Water Filtration experiment and a photography processing experiment. Across both days over 100 people took part.
On Wednesday and Friday, UWE and Avalon Marshes displayed information on the Avalon Marshes project, as well as presented activities for children. There was an activity involving peat, and one looking at some of the engineering involved in the flooding in the Avalon Marshes.
Both days had over 100 people stop and engage with the team, and they will be back again on Saturday 30th.
